Ben Kane on the Spartacus Rebellion

West Cheshire Libraries & Cheshire West Museums present two separate talks on gladiators with Ben Kane. Timed to coincide with the Grosvenor Museum's Gladiators of Great Britain exhibition we are delighted to welcome this best-selling author and Roman history expert to Cheshire.

Kenya born, Irish by blood and UK resident, Ben Kane’s passion for history has taken him to more than 60 countries, and all 7 continents. He has walked hundreds of miles in Roman military gear, including Hadrian’s Wall, and is known to lead history tours in Italy and Germany. Eleven of his nineteen novels have been Sunday Times Top Ten bestsellers. Published in fifteen countries, he has sold more than two million books worldwide.
