Park and Ride
Overview
The Park and Ride Services timetables will be changing on Sunday 4 January 2026. These are the new timetables for 2026:
Park and ride timetables
Buses operate three separate circular routes direct into the city, then back to your car park.
PR1 - Wrexham Road Park and Ride: Grosvenor Road (for Racecourse and Law Courts) – Bus Interchange – Foregate Street stop AA (for shops and visitor attractions) – Pepper Street (for the River Dee and Boat Trips) – Grosvenor Road - Wrexham Road Park & Ride
PR2 - Boughton Heath Park and Ride: Boughton Waitrose (for Business Quarter) - The Bars – Bus Interchange – Foregate Street stop AA (for shops and visitor attractions) – Boughton Waitrose - Boughton Heath Park & Ride
PR3 - Upton (Zoo) Park and Ride: Liverpool Road (for Countess Hospital) – Liverpool Road Abbotts Grange (for University) – Bus Interchange – Foregate Street stop BB (for shops and visitor attractions) – Liverpool Road Abbotts Grange – Liverpool Road (Countess Hospital) - Upton (Zoo) Park & Ride
Sealand Road Park and Ride: The Park and Ride service from this site is currently suspended until further notice.
Electric charging points
We don’t have electric chargers at any of our park and ride sites as of yet, but it is being considered as part of our wider Climate Change agenda.

PR1 - Wrexham Road Park and Ride
Monday - Friday: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 07:00am
- Last bus 18:40pm
Saturday: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 08:40am
- Last bus 1740pm
Sundays and public holidays: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 10:20am
- Last bus 17:00pm

PR2 - Boughton Heath Park and Ride
Monday - Friday: every 15 minutes:
- First bus 07:00am
- Last bus 18:30pm
Saturday: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 08:30am
- Last bus 17:45pm
Sundays and public holidays: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 10:30am
- Last bus 17:15pm
750 total parking spaces (12 disabled spaces)
PR3 - Upton (Zoo) Park and Ride
Monday - Friday: every 15 minutes from 07:00am until 08:45am
- First bus 07:00am
- Last bus 08:45am
Then every 20 minutes:
- First bus 09:05am
- Last bus 18:45pm
Saturday: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 08:30am
- Last bus 17:30pm
Sundays and public holidays: every 20 minutes:
- First bus 10:30am
- Last bus 17:10pm
460 total parking spaces (10 disabled spaces)
Park and Ride services do not operate on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
