Who will own my data once I submit it?

We will own your data once it has been submitted.

Why do you need my information?

The renovation and future use project is looking at bringing the old Little Sutton Train Station Ticket Office back into use.

When we collect and use your information, we need this to:

  • contact you by email to invite you to future meetings in relation to the Little Sutton Railway Station project
  • provide you with a copy of the agenda and minutes of meeting
  • make a note of your attendance on the minutes of meeting
  • keep you up to date with the progress of little Sutton railway station project
  • send out actions to all members of the meeting by email for the project regarding the proposal to bring Little Sutton Railway Station back into community use

The information that we collect about you could include your name, email address(s) and signature.

What allows you to use my information?

When we collect and use your personal information to invite you to sign up to the project and to invite you to the meeting, we do so after obtaining your consent.

When we collect and use your personal information to record your attendance at the meeting, we do so for the purpose of legitimate interests.

When we collect and use your personal email address to be shared with other members of the meeting for the purpose of actions for the project, we do so after obtaining your consent.

The legislation, policies and guidance that allow us to do this includes but is not limited to:

  • General Data Protection Legislation Article 6 part a
  • General Data Protection Legislation Article 6 part f
  • General Data Protection Legislation Article 6 part a

Who will my information be shared with?

Your information will only be shared internally within our localities team and the Chairman of the Little Sutton renovation and future use meeting.

Do I have to provide this information and what will happen if I don’t?

If you do not provide us with your information we will not be able to invite you and keep you up to date with any future meetings.

How long will you keep this data for and why?

When we collect information about inviting you to meetings we will keep your information for 12 months after your involvement with the project. You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive emails at any point. When we collect your information to record your attendance on minutes of meeting, we will keep your information for five years after closure of the project.

How will my information be stored?

Your information will be stored securely within our IT network.

Your rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • your right of access - you have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information
  • your right to rectification - you have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
  • your right to erasure - you have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances
  • your right to restriction of processing - you have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances
  • your right to data portability - you have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
