Topic summaries
Topic summaries are sets of data and supporting information, grouped by a similar theme. The majority of the datasets that the Office for National Statistics release as part of each topic summary contain data about just one variable. Data is available for a wide range of geographies.
Area profiles
Area profiles allow users to view statistics from across different topics for a particular area. They also allow users to compare local statistics for an area against national statistics. These are available for a wide range of geographies.
Census maps
Census maps is an interactive mapping tool to explore 2021 Census data for different topics down to neighbourhood level.
Build a custom area profile
This tool enables users to get data by different area types, for example neighbourhoods, wards, parishes, local authorities or parliamentary constituencies.
And if it doesn't have the geography you want, you can draw your own on a map.
With the tool, you can choose different topics from Census 2021 data, save the area you have drawn to use again and export your area profile as an image or spreadsheet.
How your area has changed in 10 years
This is an article which details how a selected local authority area has changed since the 2011 Census and how it compares to other areas.
