In 2022/23 and beyond, our priorities will be:

Placing the customer - you - at the heart of the Council and transforming how we work to be as efficient as possible
Continuing to respond to the cost-of-living crisis and tackling poverty to help change people’s lives for good
Driving a thriving economy, strengthening skills and supporting good local job opportunities
Building on our strong foundations to achieve a low carbon Council, economy and society
Further joining up care services with the NHS and transforming how adult social services support residents
Playing our part to keep our children and young people safe, and inspiring them to learn and achieve
Ensuring refugees from across the world, including Afghanistan and Ukraine, feel welcome, safe and supported
Keeping our neighbourhoods clean and tidy, with communities fully involved
