Mobile Homes Act 2013

The new Mobile Homes Act 2013 came into force on 26 March 2013, the Act brought in many changes but in particular local authorities were given the power to charge a licence fee in relation to licensing 'relevant protected sites' (RPS) from 1 April 2014, the term RPS includes permanent residential park home and gypsy and traveller sites. The Act allowed for recovery of costs incurred by us in operating the licensing scheme under the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 and subsequent legislation.
