Service changes on Monday 19 September
The State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place at 11am on Monday 19 September, at Westminster Abbey. The day will be a public holiday.
Contact Centre
Our Contact Centre will be closed on Monday 19 September. The normal emergency telephony provision will be in place at all other times.
Waste and recycling
Kerbside waste and recycling collections will not take place on Monday 19 September, but instead will take place on Saturday 17 September.
Household Waste Recycling Centres in Chester, Ellesmere Port and Winsford will remain open on Monday to offer residents the opportunity to continue to use this service. The sites in Tattenhall, Neston, Frodsham and Northwich will close. Bulky waste collections will not take place on Monday.
Libraries, museums and Cheshire Archives
Libraries, museums and Cheshire Archives will be closed on Monday 19 September.
Any loans due back to libraries will be automatically renewed.
Markets
All west Cheshire markets will be closed on Monday 19 September.
Schools
All schools in west Cheshire will be closed on Monday 19 September.
