We are receiving high volumes of ceremony enquiries at the moment. We completely understand, but please do not submit repeat enquiries as these are affecting our ability to respond. We will respond to enquiries as soon as we can and will give priority to couples who have an existing booking with us, but please remain patient.
Changes to registration service
Changes have recently been introduced which allow small marriages and civil partnerships to take place in England from 4 July 2020 subject to Government Guidance. From 4 July we are able to provide Register Office ceremonies that have already been booked.
If a booking has already been made for our Registrars to officiate at a ceremony at an Approved Premises our Registrars will attend if the venue demonstrates compliance with the Guidance and can provide a COVID secure environment.
Government Guidance requires changes to be made to ensure the safety of those attending ceremonies. This includes ceremonies may only take place in COVID-secure environments; ceremonies should be concluded in the shortest reasonable time and the number of attendees should be kept to a minimum - the lower the number of attendees, the lower the risk of spreading the virus.
From 20 July we will be accepting new bookings for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies taking place after 31 December 2020. You can request, postpone or rearrange a booking by emailing our team: firstname.lastname@example.org.
