Staying safe from scams

We are aware that there are several scams in circulation, and we would like to provide both reassurance around our messages and information about current scams.

Please be aware all legitimate emails and text messages from Chester West and Chester Council will clearly state they are from us.

• Emails will always be sent from either @cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or donotreply@rabs.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
• Text messages will never come from unknown mobile numbers.

Any links we include in our Council Tax text messages and emails will always direct you to Council Tax.
