Responding to domestic violence and abuse training

Cheshire West and Chester Domestic Abuse Partnership (CWACDAP) run the following multi-agency training programmes for practitioners.

Responding to Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) Awareness Level 2 (full day)

Aim

To enable staff to respond appropriately to DVA and increase the safety of survivors and the accountability of perpetrators through a co-ordinated community response.

Refresher Responding to Domestic Violence and Abuse (half day)

(Training for those who have attended the Responding to DVA (formerly Basic Awareness) full day training approximately three years ago). 

Aim

To update DVA practice, provision and procedures information for professionals.

Safeguarding Children from Domestic Violence and Abuse Level 3 (full day)

Aim

To increase confidence and competence in safeguarding children and young people affected by DVA through a family approach to safety and recovery.

Sexual Assault Services in Cheshire West and Chester (half day)

Aim

To promote sexual assault services in Cheshire West and Chester to increase referrals.

Please note

There is no cost for attendance but a charge of £50 is levied for anyone who does not make use of their allocated place.
