Pay your rent and leaseholder charges
You can pay your housing rent online by using your rent number. Your rent number can be found on your rent card. It is eight digits long and starts with one.

The easiest way to pay your rent and other regular payments is by setting up a Direct Debit. Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly, four weekly or monthly. Once set up, you do not need to do anything more. Just choose a regular payment day and we’ll automatically collect your payment from your bank.You can set up a direct debit online or by telephone.
Pay using your debit or credit card on our secure internet payment facility, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please remember you will need to enter your tenancy reference number.
You can pay over the telephone by debit or credit card in the following ways.
- Contact the ForHousing Income Team during normal working hours on 0151 373 2560 or 0300 123 55 22.
- Contact Cheshire West and Chester Council automated telephone payment system on 0300 123 70 29, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Please remember you will need to quote your Tenancy Reference Number.
Using the barcode on your payment card you can make payment at any outlet displaying the PayPoint sign. No charge is made. A list of outlets in the area can be found using the locator tool on the PayPoint website.
Using your barcode you can make payment to any Post Office in the country. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit card. Please make cheques payable to 'Post Office Ltd' and write your account number on the back of the cheque.
