Private Rented Sector Service

We have a brand new team dedicated to the private rented sector working with landlords to ensure successful and affordable tenancies. We are looking for landlords with HMOs, flats and houses for families and individuals across all parts of the borough.

The aim is to support a positive landlord and tenant journey which benefits both parties. By helping landlords with stable lets it helps sustain independent successful tenancies and reduce homelessness.

The Private Rented Sector (PRS) Service provides a free tenant matching service for landlords and will put forward a choice of tenants who are ‘Tenancy Ready’. Gratuities of up to £500 and other incentives are provided for landlords using the service.

Landlords are supported throughout the tenancy period, with advice and guidance, mediation services and communication with the tenant.
