Northwich regeneration

Northwich is an exciting and vibrant place to live, work, play and visit with a set of ambitious projects and developments planned as part of the Council’s vision for the town. Regenerating areas of the town centre to unlock economic opportunities, renovating much-loved traditional town landmarks and architecture, developing leisure facilities, and improving road links and accessibility are all vital parts of the future for Northwich. The Council’s overall vision for the town is detailed in the Northwich Development Framework.

With the Council already committing funding for Northwich, there is a strong commitment to the town’s future.

Work has already started on key regeneration projects, including Northwich Library, with further funds allocated for 2023 and beyond. The Council’s multi-million-pound commitment to Winnington Bridge remains, and the Council is eager and ready to submit a strong and compelling case to government for future funding, including Levelling Up Round 3 when this is announced.

There is also a commitment to funding for projects like Soot Hill, Northwich Market, Moss Farm and for events such as NOW Northwich, building on the town’s reputation as a growing cultural centre.
