Northwich Library Renovation

The final stages of the renovation and refurbishment of Northwich Library is well underway.

The library has always played a key role in Northwich and it holds a special place for many people, the building is an iconic heritage asset for the town.

Our contractors H.H. Smith & Sons Co. Ltd are helping us to create an accessible and welcoming library and learning space. The renovated building will include the library, an accessible first floor hosting a Skills and Employment Hub and flexible activity and meeting spaces.

The restoration works have begun at Northwich Library.

The original glazing is being removed to have an overhaul and we are reintroducing leaded glass windows in lieu of the modern glass panes that were previously installed. The scaffold has also commenced to facilitate roofing and facade works which are currently taking place.
