Adult Social Care Data

Every year all local authorities complete a series of statutory returns to collect data about adult social care services and safeguarding. This helps us to understand how well care and support services are working to achieve the outcomes that matter most to people, and in keeping vulnerable adults safe from abuse or neglect.

Adult social care statistics are published annually by the Department of Health and Social Care and are available to view at local, regional and national geographies.
