Changes to registration services
To keep customers and staff safe during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and to use our limited resources in the best way possible we have made changes to our registration services. Our current priority is arranging and providing death registrations, birth registrations and responding to enquiries about ceremonies that have already been booked with our registrars.
We are experiencing an unprecedented number of enquiries. We completely understand, but ask that customers remain patient. Please be assured we will respond to enquiries as soon as we can, but there will be a delay.
We are now accepting new bookings for ceremonies. To book, postpone or rearrange a ceremony already booked with the registration team please email: email@example.com.
Marriage ceremony at the Register Office

Marriage ceremony at an approved premises venue
If you have chosen to get married at one of our approved venues then information regarding them can be found in the brochure below.
The registrar conducting your ceremony will contact you four weeks before to discuss your arrangements for the day.
Outdoor ceremonies at approved premises
Some of our venues in Cheshire West and Chester offer the option of an outdoor ceremony. We have developed a comprehensive guide outlining the legal requirements so that you can tailor your ceremony to your personal preferences.
If you are planning on having an outdoor ceremony, please check with the venue where this will take place.
