Childcare offer for Working families
From the term after your child turns nine months old working families can access up to 15 hours of funded childcare each week. This increases to 30 hours from September 2025.
To access these hours of funded childcare parents and carers will need to apply for an eligibility code through the Childcare Choices website. There is also additional information on what can be expected when accessing funded childcare and other schemes that may help parents and carers with the cost of childcare.

Families of 2-year-old children may be eligible for the childcare offer for Families in receipt of additional government support.
