Uniform Exchange, Swap shops or Recycling Schemes - Wear it out, don’t throw it out
We do not provide any assistance towards the cost of school uniforms. Please contact your school directly to see if they are able to provide any help for families or if they provide a uniform exchange scheme. For support please see the School uniform support section.
Uniform exchange, swap or recycling schemes
Individual schools may have their own support in place to help families who may need it. Schools, parents and PTA’s support with pre-loved uniforms, PE kits etc through swap shops, informally through Facebook/WhatsApp groups or by doing pre-loved sales during school activities.
These groups enable parents and carers to pass on pre-loved uniforms with reduced or no cost, extending the life of an item and possibly raising funds for the school or PTA.
