Below is a list of unauthorised encampments in the Cheshire and Warrington area. These are shown by Council area.

Each unauthorised encampment is given a name based on where it was first reported. The exact location of the encampment may be somewhere nearby. Similarly, there may be a slightly different number of caravans reported when the group first arrive. There is a procedure for dealing with encampments and the information is updated as this progresses. If you have checked the list below and want to tell us about a new encampment, please use our reporting form.

Cheshire West and Chester

Cheshire County Sports Club, Chester

• Current Status: Police patrol to attend for initial assessment
• Notes: Privately-owned land; 5 caravans

Wrexham Road P & R , Chester

• Arrived: 23 July 2024
• Current Status: The group have now left the location
• Notes: Privately-owned land; 4 caravans
• Information Updated: 26 July 2024, 10.30am
