The Customer Service Centre is situated on the first floor of the library.
Home Library Service
The Home Library Service is available to anyone who cannot easily visit a library due to disability or incapacity. Volunteers deliver books or talking books on a regular basis, free of charge. Do you know anyone who could make use of this service? We can help. Or do you have a few hours spare to volunteer? For further information, please contact the library.

Situated on the first floor of the Library the Work Zone offers a range of services to support residents in identifying and developing their job hunting and employability skills, including a weekly job club and help with maths, English and IT skills. - Toddler rhyme and sign
11am - 11.30 am, weekly in term time.
- NAAFI Break Drop In
11am - 1pm, second and fourth Thursday of every month. This is open to Veterans, Regulars or Reserves and their dependents, to come together in a relaxed social environment, pull up a sandbag and share similar experiences. It also offers front-line help where needed and direct access to support, advice, and guidance on topics like employment, debt, benefits, welfare, mental health difficulties, housing, homelessness, drug and alcohol problems, Welfare Poppy Breaks, health and wellbeing, peer support/advocacy and anything else that veterans feel they may be struggling with or benefit from. Leave the M53 at Junction 9 and follow the signs for the town centre.
After a mile turn left at the traffic lights into Civic Way (just before the Civic Hall) and the library is on the right hand side, opposite the bus station.
