Hoole library is currently closed. Chester Storyhouse is back open to its original opening hours and Ellesmere Port, Neston, Northwich and Winsford have also opened and are operating on temporary revised hours.
More libraries will be reviewed in the coming weeks but to help customers to continue using our service, we have:

- Halted any new fines - we won’t contact you about this

Meets weekly, 2pm - 3.30pm. Bring along your knitting, crochet or sewing and enjoy a good chat. All welcome whether experienced or absolute beginner.

First Tuesday of the month, 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Please contact the library for the next meeting date and the reading list.
We are looking for committed library volunteers at Hoole Community Library. The ideal person will have good communication skills and be interested in promoting reading and learning; having a range of computer skills would be an advantage.

Where is the library? How do I get there?
Hoole Library is situated in the Community Centre on Westminster Road, to the rear of the building. It is run by volunteers and offers a selection of books, talking books and large print. It also offers free internet access for library members, although there are no printing and scanning facilities.
By car - from A56 Hoole Road turn onto Faulkner Street, turn left onto Charles Street, take the first right onto Westminster Road.
The Community Centre has a car park.
