All chimneys should be located on gable or party walls.

SHOULD

All chimneys, whether functional or not, should be constructed from the same brick or stone as the building itself.

Chimneys could be included in designs as part of a building’s passive cooling or as an exhaust for ventilation or an MVHR system.
