Ofsted pre-registration briefing
If you decide you want to go ahead to registration you are required to complete a paediatric first aid course which has to be completed at the point of registration. The paediatric first aid course can be accessed either from the council’s quality learning partners or through an Ofsted accredited private training provider.
Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY)
PACEY offer an online pre-reg briefing for only five pounds which will provide all the information you need to decide if a career in childminding is or you.
You may then wish to go on to purchase the online Level 3 Award in Home based Childcare which costs £300.
