Regular activities

Monday

  • Adult Colouring Group
    10am - 11.30am, fortnightly. Join us for a cuppa and a colour. Resources are limited so feel free to bring along your own colouring book.
  • Knit and natter
    10 - 11.30am, fortnightly. Bring your own knitting along, enjoy a friendly chat and exchange tips and ideas. Beginners welcome.

Tuesday

  • Under 5s stories and rhymes
    11.15am - 11.45am - (term time only).
  • Reading group
    3.30pm - 4.30pm - last Tuesday of each month (except December - please contact library for details).

Friday

  • ForHousing Rent Surgery
    10am - 12noon. Drop-in, no need to book.
  • Reading group
    11am - 12pm. Last Friday of each month (except December - please contact the library for details).
  • Baby rhyme time
    2pm - 2.30pm (term time).
  • IT Buddy
    5.30 - 6.45pm, weekly. Informal one-to-one support with basic IT issues. Please contact the library to check availability.

  • ForHousing
    Housing Officer available Monday to Friday – please contact the library about the Housing Officer’s availability.

Saturday

  • Lego club
    10am – 11.30am, weekly. For all Lego enthusiasts. Starts Saturday 30 April 2016.

Meeting room for hire

Neston Library has a small meeting room for hire during library opening hours (maximum capacity four people). Charges are £10 per hour for community groups and £15 per hour for commercial organisations. Please ring the library for availability and bookings. Friends of Neston Library

Do you love your library? Would you like to get involved more? The Friends are a lively group who meet once a month and do all sorts of things from author events to the Centenary Mosaic. What would you like to do? Come along to one of our meetings to find out more.

 

Home Library Service

In partnership with the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), Neston library provides the Home Library Service to anyone who cannot easily visit a library due to disability or incapacity. Volunteers deliver books or talking books on a regular basis, free of charge.

Directions
Neston Library is on the left hand side after the shops on Parkgate Road, on the way out of Neston.

Public transport
Neston railway station is five minutes walk from the library; bus stops are five minutes walk from the library.

Parking
There is a small car park at the rear of the library and some on road parking at the front.
