Draft Community Assets Framework Consultation
The Draft Community Assets Framework sets out the council’s vision for community assets - to deliver a better integrated public service across the borough, by creating efficient and fit for purpose community assets. A consultation is now taking place to review all community assets - libraries, community centres/buildings, play areas, public conveniences and greenspaces. If you would like to give your views, please compete the consultation online or pick up a paper copy from your local library.

3.30pm - 5pm, weekly. Retired maths teacher will be on hand to provide tuition and general support for parents, children and students struggling with homework and revision. From SATs to GCSE level.
Bookworms reading group
One morning per month at 10.30am. Contact the library for details..

10am - 11.30am, weekly, term time only. Cakes, tea and coffee at very reasonable prices.
- Duplo club
Weekly, 10am - 11.30am. Creative building for younger children.
- Knit and natter group
The group meets every Thursday 2pm - 4pm.
- Crafting Club
9.30am - 11am, weekly. Bring your own craft projects along and get tips and advice from fellow group members, ranging from art to needlecraft to knitting. This group also supports and makes items for Handmade for Dementia Northwest and UK e.g. twiddle muffs and cannula sleeves. All items are risked assessed by Handmade for Dementia and are donated to local care homes and hospitals. Any donations of wool gratefully received.
- Chatty Crafters
2.30pm - 4pm weekly. Come along and get creative, meet like-minded people and enjoy tea and biscuits.
- TGIF reading group
One morning per month at 10am. Contact the library for details.
Family history online
9.30am - 1pm, weekly. Free help to use our online family history resources Ancestry and Find My Past. Sessions are one hour and need to be booked, in advance, via the library.

Home Library Service
In partnership with the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), Sandiway library provides the Home Library Service to anyone who cannot easily visit a library due to disability or incapacity. Volunteers deliver books or talking books on a regular basis, free of charge.

Coming from Northwich on the A556, turn right at the traffic lights, next to Sandiway Post Office. At the t-junction turn right into Weaverham Road and left into Mere Lane. The library is on the right, opposite the shops.
Bus no 82 from Northwich.
There is a car park to the rear of the library.
There is one space in the library car park.
