Verdin Exchange
The much-loved Verdin Exchange building in Winsford is being listed to seek market interest as it prepares for an exciting new future.
The Council is seeking enquiries on the building from interested developers from 2 February 2026 and their ideas for restoring the building and bringing it back to use.
The Verdin Exchange building is Grade II listed and is an important heritage asset to Winsford. It is well loved by the local community, and the Council is committed to safeguarding its future.
Building surveys and investigations recently took place at the Verdin Exchange building. The works include measured survey works, site and building investigations and condition surveys to find out what could be possible for the building.
Surveys and market interest are an important part of the evidence that will help secure the future of the Verdin Exchange. Any repurposing or reuse of the building must respect its status and heritage, and any potential development must work within the wider strategic objectives of the town as the Council’s regeneration of the town centre continues.
