Due to essential maintenance, some Council Tax and Benefits online services will be unavailable between 8pm and 9:30pm on Sunday 27 November. If you experience any issue submitting a form or accessing the self-service portal during this time, please try again later. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have already set up payment by Direct Debit this will continue automatically and no action is required.

Set up or amend a direct debit

You need to have your bank account details and your Council Tax account reference to hand. You can set up a new Direct Debit or amend the bank details or payment date of an existing Direct Debit.

Please note

If you have received a summons, recovery letter or final notice then you have lost your right to pay by instalments. You will need to contact us to discuss your account.

If you wish to cancel your Direct Debit please contact your bank.
