Set up a Direct Debit
Please note: The Council Tax and Benefits self-service facility will be unavailable from Friday 26 February until Sunday 28 February for essential maintenance. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
The quickest and easiest way to pay is to set up a Direct Debit. Instalments go out each month over the year and will automatically continue when a new year begins. You need to have your bank account details and your Council Tax account reference to hand.
Please note: If you have received a summons, recovery letter or final notice then you have lost your right to pay by instalments. You will need to contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your account.
If you need to amend or change an existing Direct Debit, please email email@example.com with the following information:
- name and address
- Council Tax reference
- new bank details or details of the new payment date
