Basic calculations including decimals, fractions and percentages; averages; angles and simple shapes; measurements of speed, time, volume etc.

Overview:

This Entry 3 course helps you develop fundamental digital skills for the workplace. You will gain the confidence to use technology in a professional setting. Ideal for beginners seeking to improve their digital literacy for employment.

Using email; internet browsing; basic document creation, editing and saving.

Designed to prepare you for employment by developing key skills for the workplace, such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving. This Entry 3 level course is ideal for those who are currently unemployed or seeking their first job or anyone needing to build confidence in their ability to work or return to work.

Personal emotional resilience; building confidence and managing challenges; building and managing workplace relationships, effective communication and teamwork; transferable skills and training needs.

Overview:

Learn about different activities carried out by people working in administration including roles, responsibilities and business structure. The course embeds digital skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and covers available career opportunities.

Action planning for personal success; using Word and Teams for admin tasks; Excel and online tasks for contracts and finance; presenting information and analysing data; manual paperwork.

Course offered at both Level 1 and Level 2.

This Level 2 course is suitable for adults who want to understand how businesses promote products and services online. The course develops digital marketing and social media skills.

Topics:

Planning and managing marketing campaigns across various platforms such as TV, print, digital advertising, websites, and social media; audience analysis; content creation; different digital technologies and platforms, and platform proficiency (SEO, SEM, email marketing); analytics. You will create and present a social media marketing campaign proposal for a specific product or service.
