Landlord Forum Training Events and Newsletter
The Landlord Forum is held once a year in conjunction with the National Residential Landlords Association. It provides an opportunity for private landlords and letting agents to be kept informed about the latest developments. There are also opportunities to network with other landlords and agents.
The next Landlord Forum is being held:
- Date: Thursday, 24 September 2026
- Time: Doors open at 4.30pm with an official 5.00pm start
- Venue: Civic Suite, Civic Hall, Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire CH65 0BZ

Arrive 4.30pm for registration, refreshments, networking and exhibitors
5.00pm – Welcome and introduction
- Renters` Rights Act 2025 - Alana Davies, Regional Engagement Executive, National Residential Landlords Association. Alana will deliver a presentation on the Renters` Rights Act which came into force on 1 May this year.
- Fire Safety – Fire Officer, Cheshire Fire and Rescue. A representative from Cheshire Fire and Rescue will explain everything you need to know to ensure that your tenants are housed in a fully fire safety compliant home.
- Housing and Health Safety Rating System – Chris White, Housing Standards Team Leader, Cheshire West and Chester Council. Chris will let you know about the revised Housing and Health Safety Rating System and how he and his team will carry out inspections.
- Questions and Answers – Alana Davies, Regional Engagement Executive, National Residential Landlords Association. Alana will provide an opportunity for you to ask her any questions you might have in connection with what’s going on with the sector.
