Moving house dates for reception applications

Moving between 16 January 2024 to 20 February 2024

If you move between 16 January 2024 and 20 February 2024, and sufficient evidence is received within this timeframe, your address will be updated and treated as on time.

Moving between 21 February 2024 to 16 April 2024

If you move between 21 February 2024 and 16 April 2024, and sufficient evidence is received within this timeframe, your address will be updated as of 16 April 2024. Your new address will then be used for the collation of waiting lists or for admissions appeals if they are necessary.

 Moving after 16 April 2024

If you move after 16 April 2024 your address will be updated as the date the relevant evidence is received. Your new address will then be used for the updating of waiting lists or for admissions appeals if they are necessary.

The School Admissions Code gives us the right to withdraw any school place offered on the basis of a fraudulent or intentionally misleading application. If we receive notification of a potentially fraudulent application the Council’s Fraud and Investigations Team may be asked to review the information that has been provided. This may include interviewing and taking a signed statement from the applicant.
