All libraries apart from Chester will be operating on temporary revised opening hours. Please see individual library webpages for more information.
From Monday 12 October we will be continuing with the phased re-opening of other library services:
It is currently not possible to operate the usual services safely at Malpas, Tarvin, Tattenhall and Tarporley Libraries, so temporary arrangements have been put in place. A temporary mobile library service will cover Malpas, Tarvin, Tattenhall and Tarporley, calling at each location once a week. The mobile library can be boarded one household at a time, to return and borrow items. The mobile schedule is available on the individual library pages.
An order and collect service will be available at Wharton Library. On Mondays 10am-1pm and Thursdays 2-5pm, items can be returned and pre-ordered items can be collected, from the library foyer. More information can be found on our Order and Collect page. Essential IT access will also be available by pre-booking by calling Winsford Library and children 16 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
From 12 October all books will be issued for the normal three week loan period and will be due for return from 2 November. Overdue charges will be re-instated from 2 November. You can check the return date on your items by logging in to your account.
You can renew your loans using the Cheshire Libraries Catalogue or phone 0300 123 7739 for 24 hour renewals.
For any enquiries please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also access eBooks, audio downloads, eMagazines, eNewspapers and eResources free of charge.
Your library card can be used in any library in Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East.
